Tanbih news project

Home About Us

About

Tanbih SaaS Platform provides accessible AI models through APIs that can be used in identifying media bias, the factuality of news reporting, and propagandistic content. Thus, it can help fight false information. APIs also include functionality to detect the claims that are most worthy of fact-checking, which can help human fact-checkers in prioritizing their work, e.g., when analyzing a political debate or social media content.

Our Research

Our research focuses on developing novel AI techniques (Deep Learning, NLP, Speech, and Computer Vision) to address the problem of information disorder (i.e., disinformation, misinformation, and malinformation). In other words, identifying “fake news” that is harmful to individuals, organizations, and society as a whole. The research aims to identify media stance, bias, and propaganda to limit the effect of fake news, which is done by characterizing the media outlets that help to fact-check the news before they were even written! The outcome of our research work has been published in top-tier conferences and journals.
